Responsibilities
Operates, maintains, and repairs HVAC, heating, and refrigeration equipment.
Treats air by controlling temperature, humidity, cleanliness, and distribution of specific areas through an integrated air condition and ventilation equipment, accessories, and control devices.
Solders, brazes, and performs minor electrical work and troubleshoots equipment to a replaceable component level.
Reads and interprets work orders, parts requests, drawings/schematics/blueprints, and manuals to accomplish and maintain maintenance.
Must be able to work alone.
Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
Must either have either a trade school diploma from their country of record or hold 3 years' experience as a practicing journeyman HVAC mechanic and some relevant work experience leading teams.
Experience:
Experience with chilled and heated water systems, boilers, hydronic hot/cold water distribution systems, packaged and split systems, air delivery systems, and their controls and components.
Skills & Technology Used:
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Must be able to work under pressure, individually or in a team and be service oriented.
Working Environment:
Shift work and/or flexible working hours and/or overtime and/or assigned rest day rotation may be required. Subject environmental conditions activities can occur both inside and outside.
Physical Activities:
Physically capable of working in hot or warm weather all year long, with little change in seasons.
