Under the management of the CCEP Manager, conducts receiving, storing, inventory, issuing, and disposition of Government Property. Coordinates monthly 10% cyclic inventories, sensitive item inventories, and a reconciliation of excess Government Property. Updates Property Custodian hand receipts and ensures transactions are posted. Prepares and submits reports as required.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manages and maintains property records and distributes correspondence.

  • Maintains accountable records for equipment and facilities assigned to the CCEP.

  • Works in GCSS-Army (Property), LIW and other logistics automation systems.

  • Conducts periodic inventories and CSDP audits to ensure that equipment and procedures are properly accounted for and documented correctly.

  • Interfaces with the primary and sub hand-receipt holders, unit commanders, various unit representatives and CCEP employees as a property representative.

  • Prepares documents for inventory, receipt, issue, and other transactions as required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

  • Places identifying codes, figures, letters, or marks on articles using labeling equipment.

  • Identifies Government Property ensuring applicable markings are affixed and legible.

  • Moves or transports Government Property or Supplies to other Departments using pallet jacks, forklifts, industrial trucks or other Government Owned Vechicles.

  • Identifies excess Government Property in work areas and works to disposition accordingly.

  • Ensures Government Property is being maintained appropriately.

  • Prepares, reads, and analyzes records and reports necessary to execute actions routinely.

  • Ensures all components of all end items (COEI, Bill of Materials (BOM), are accounted for and inventoried annually.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

    Work Environment:

  • The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.

  • The worker is subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.

  • The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.

  • The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.

  • Certification in GCSS-Army or other STAMIS is required.

  • Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for Common Access Card (CAC).

    Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must have a valid state driver's license.

  • Forklift's operator's license a plus.

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA), Certified Property Specialist or above.

  • Proper use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

    Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in Property Management. Related Military experience in Supply and Logistics.

  • Functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Military supply accountability.

  • Working knowledge of Supply Room operations and inventory management is required.

  • Experience with Maximo® Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System desirable.

    Skills:

  • Possesses thorough knowledge of GCSS-Army

  • Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • WMS experience with Maximo, SAP, Oracle or similar systems
