SUPPLY TECHNICIAN- (Unit Supply)
Responsible formaintaining unit level Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), to includethe hand receipt procedures, ordering and reconciliation of all supplies andequipment; tracking of the unit logistics budget; monitoring the pick-up andturn in of all equipment coming to and leaving the unit; management andtracking of transportation, ammunition, billeting, inventories, load plans,licensing, field preparation and return.
Responsible forsupporting the Supply Discipline Program; schedules and performs preventive andorganizational maintenance on communications equipment, controlledcryptographic items (CCI), weapons and other sensitive items; post transactionsto property books and transaction files; initiates financial liabilityinvestigations of property loss (FLIPL).

(a)Having a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, forms, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
(b)Preferred graduate of the 92Y, 92A MOS producing school or other branch of service or the equivalent with a minimum of 3yrs experience with unit supply level operations.
(c)Must be able to demonstrate experience with the Unit Level GCSS-A automated property accounting system.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
(a)Must possess a valid driver’s license and active passport.
(b)Experience with operating forklifts is a plus.
(c)Capable of working independently without direct supervision.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, SharePoint), and other software programs to assist with special projects, process business unit invoices, and other compliance programs
