Responsibilities

  • What You'll Do:

  • The Applicant shall support the CH-53 Fleet Support Team by analyzing and coordinating the ongoing logistical functions for the aircraft’s support equipment. They will be responsible for the entire life cycle of the support equipment products, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. The applicant will perform various logistics tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of aircraft support equipment supportability and/or maintainability.

  • No clearance is required, but must be eligible to hold one.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical evaluation and identification of peculiar and/or common aircraft support equipment logistics/maintenance requirements and resources.

  • Development of aircraft support equipment logistics support and maintainability programs and/or plans.

  • Aircraft support equipment life cycle cost analysis and control.

  • Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.

  • Develop, modify, prepare, and/or validate documentation in relation to aircraft support equipment reporting systems, and management information systems.

  • Use logistical management techniques, supply chain procedures, technical publications, and automated data processing equipment to manage all aspects of aircraft support equipment policies, procedures, strategies, and plans.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in aircraft life-cycle (acquisition or sustaining) logistics, supply support, maintenance, or aircraft support equipment.

  • Required Education / Certifications:

  • BS or BA degree.

  • Allowable Substitutions: (In addition to the one (1) year of experience in aircraft life-cycle (acquisition or sustaining) logistics, supply support, maintenance, or aircraft support equipment.

  • Associate degree plus an additional four (4) years of aircraft logistics, supply support, maintenance, or support equipment work experience that meets the experience requirements for a Junior Logistician.

  • High School Diploma/GED plus an additional six (6) years of aircraft logistics, supply support, maintenance, or support equipment work experience that meets the experience requirements for a Junior Logistician.

  • Experience:

  • Experienced in communicating with customers, employees, and corporate staff.

  • Experienced in the daily use of computers and computer software programs such as, but not limited to, Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Adobe/Adobe Pro.

  • Knowledge of aviation supply support, maintenance, or support equipment best practices.

  • Knowledge of Support Equipment Resources Management Information System (SERMIS).

  • Knowledge of Automated Support Equipment Recommendation Data (AutoSERD).

  • Knowledge of Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL).

  • Other Requirements:

  • No clearance is required, but must be eligible to hold one.
