We are looking for a Logistics Management Specialist support a NAVAIR Program Office based at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, providing logistics management support in the engineering, development and procurement of Unmanned Aircraft Systems. This role requires an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

• Develop an integrated logistical support (ILS) plan to support the unmanned program.

• Help ensure the Capability Development Document (CDD) requirements for availability, reliability, sustainment, operations support cost, training and manpower are met.

• Help ensure systems product support strategy elements are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts and engineering documents.

• Analyze logistics procedures to support and sustain aircraft systems products.

• Analyze data collected to determine impact on material readiness and equipment accountability.

• Support the execution of an advanced research and development program; work with program teams to integrate program Logistics requirement. Support the development of acquisition and logistics documentation.

• Help the product support definition, transition to, and implementation of next generation systems and be the subject matter expert in all phases of the product support requirements. Identify support equipment required to maintain the system.

• Identify sparing requirements, track reliability trends, and highlight inefficiencies in logistical support processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, technical or related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of recent and relevant experience in logistics management and a thorough understanding of DoD Unmanned Aircraft System platform logistics requirements.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in all Microsoft and Adobe products.
