Vectrus Program Financial Analyst in Germany

Overview

The Program Financial Analyst will analyze our programs' financial needs and reports. Responsible for providing program financial support to the Finance Manager. Established cost structure and charge codes and maintained the Receivable function of several programs.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

• Assist various departments in developing regular project status reports. • Monitor all subcontractor and vendor contracts and work as a contact point for external and internal resource providers. • Evaluate all contracts to identify critical financial terms, prepare a report for management, and manage accounts receivables. • Input all monthly journal entries for close activities and that they are thoroughly and timely prepared and reviewed and that all reports are in compliance with appropriate financial standards and company requirements • Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfers to accounts receivable reserves, verifying totals, and preparing reports. • Develop process improvements for month-end activities and program plans, forecasts and budgets. And assist in continuous improvement projects, which may involve implementing a new policy, process, or system. • Interface with Vectrus Systems Corporation Headquarters and functional managers regarding financial-related activities; develop and implement financial controls; conduct financial reviews of program areas; prepare and analyze various financial reports; develop and monitor performance metrics for financial management and other duties as required • Skilled in month-end cost analysis and knowledge of payroll processes, corporate allocations, indirect burdens, audit and cost control requirements, organizational setup, intercompany reconciliations and balances, reporting tools, account structures, job number structures, contracts, revenue calculations, billing calculations, and branch office consolidation. • Develop, and maintain financial models/applications (VBA Excel/Access) to automate and streamline business processes and perform financial analysis. • Enters and proof journal entries in the IFS system by company policies compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. • Improve and maintain an organized document structure and supporting file mapping for US Army Garrison to follow work order numbers to material documentation • Interfaces with internal and external auditors • Responsible for providing support, proper backup and running reports for internal and external auditors. • Assist the Finance Manager in projects as needed and Performs additional duties as required. • Identify irregularities and discrepancies in costs incurred & recorded entries across multiple systems (accounting, inventory, and billing) • Identify process improvements for the go-forward process of record-keeping & invoice support • Use of Accounting System (IFS) and Work order System.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

•Must know MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Microsoft Power BI.

Working Environment:

Work is office based, with the potential for telework for some job functions.

Physical Activities:

Work may require continuous sitting, walking, and standing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education / Certifications:

• Master‘s Degree in Business Administration • ACCA will be highly recommended.

Experience / Skills:

• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.

• Must know MS Excel, PowerPoint and, knowing MS Access is a plus • Excellent communication skills • B1 English is a must. • Excellent German Language Skills B1/C1.

Supervisory / Budget Responsibilities:

Reports directly to Finance Manager. Immediate Supervision
