Vectrus HR Operations Specialist, Senior (OCN) in Kuwait
The HR Ops Specialist, Senior is responsible for supporting the functional area of the HR Operations to support the Foreign National labor provider of the program. S/He manages the database and updates all information pertaining to all Foreign National (FN) and sub-contract labors. Provides support, reports and analytics to the HR Manager/Supervisor with regards to manning strength and vacancies. This position also provides General Human Resources support as needed.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Assist with coordination of HR Operations workflow, training, and mentoring of staff and end users as required.
Assist managing the integrity of the data in the HR Operations module within the existing database. This will be done by a wide range of data communication between the (FN) labor provider, the concerned program department and the HR Recruiting team responsible for the process.
Provide advice on strategic integration of HR processes between Vectrus and the (FN) labor provider.
Troubleshoot system errors and issues, coordinate and assist with data input and auditing to ensure accurate (FN) employee electronic records.
Assist the HRIS Administrator, Lead with creating test scenarios and assisting project team members in performing test to insure all process work according to predetermined goals.
Assist in the administration and development of HR Operations projects & solutions in order to meet the business requirements and HR objectives.
Assist program department supervisors/managers to understand and proactively address HR Operations issues related to any of the following: Leave Requests, Resignations, Installation Access Badge documents, Housing Relocation and Transportation Requests, Complaints and Performance Violations
Coordinates, schedules and tracks progress of specialized work projects or departmental functions.
Ensure HR best practices support the business in achieving objectives and are aligned with K-BOSSS HR values and priorities.
Apply knowledge of direction and trends in HR best practices, and assist in tracking of employee movement, records and report on HR metrics.
Work is generally conducted in a work center administrative environment. However, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Normal work week is 48 hours but may be required to work overtime.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs. Extended sitting or standing, and other physical efforts as required.
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources Management or other related field required.
5 years of combined experience in: Human Resources Information Systems, Human Resource Administration or Generalist experience, training, and payroll required.
General working knowledge in international and local national HR disciplines, best practices and reporting requirements.
Having a valid Smart Access Card is an advantage. Must be able to obtain/maintain a Smart Access Card.
Must possess advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with system implementation, upgrades, application configuration, systems analysis, requirements definition, and user testing.
A solid understanding of core HR business practices is required (HRIS, Recruiting, Performance Management) and needs the ability to develop solutions to technology-related business problems /opportunities.
Must be a problem solver, able to provide analysis to understand root causes and always looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
Demonstrated experience handling sensitive employment data.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Ability to adjust to multiple tasks and demands and constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints.
Excellent project management, communication and organization skills.
Strong oral / written communication, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently and oversigth a team of 5-10 people. Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint). Ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service in exigent circumstances.
