Vectrus Key Custodian in Kuwait

Overview

This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP

Under the direct supervision of CLVB Supervisor, Key Custodian manage a key control program and implement procedures for maintaining accountability for military leased vehicles keys and other TMP/CLVB assets. Provide security and protection of all TMP/CLVB assets.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Keeps account and record of all CLVB keys and/or remotes.

  • Controls the accountability and control of lock and security requirements to property, equipment, and/or vehicles within the CLVB lot.

  • Coordinates with commercial vendors to obtain replacements for lost or broken keys.

  • Prepares proper documentation for obtaining payment of lost or broken keys and/or remotes.

  • Keeps an up-to-date list of all prices of keys and/or remotes from various vendors.

  • Ensures semi-annual and annual inspections are conducted and necessary adjustments to the key control roster are being maintained.

  • Refers to the computer database that vehicles are within the period of performance on the existing contract.

  • Ensures that the vehicle operator is properly licensed and has valid tasking.

  • Be knowledgeable of physical security and Army regulations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Certifications: High School Diploma

  • On-post license and Kuwait driving license.

  • Experience:

  • Two (2) years of prior related work experience required.

  • Skills:

  • Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side and email support

  • Demonstrate ability to deal with all employees and external customers while conveying a positive service-oriented attitude.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.

  • High-level organizational and planning skills to efficiently and accurately manage workflow.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents

  • Familiar with U.S. military branches of service.

  • SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None.

  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is generally conducted in an office environment. However, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.

  • PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical or chemical agents.
