Overview

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Analyst/Program Manager to support a Navy Program office in an enhanced security environment at the Washington Navy Yard. In this position, you will be working directly with the government customer on enhancements to Surface Navy combat systems enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and staffing of program documentation

• Planning and guiding studies

• Project evaluation

• Preparation of presentation material

• Resolution of any technical project issues

• Resolution of any cost or schedule project issues. Experience supporting programs within the DoD acquisition community is required

• Attending and facilitating meetings on behalf of customer

• Tracking Action Items

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:

• Education/Certificates: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

• Possess a four (4) year college degree in business management, engineering, sciences or equivalent experience within a DoN/DoD acquisition program.

• Experience:

• Applicant must have a minimum four (4) years’ experience providing program management/analyst support within Department of Navy (DoN) environment and particularly within Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

• Desired Experience:

• Experience working with naval combat systems with a particular emphasis on the Aegis Combat System.

• Two years of experience working in an enhanced security environment.
